CIRCULARITY ONE CIRCLE-OS

Turning Tension into Organizational Potential

We guide circle as an ancient social technology to develop high functioning organizations.

The Pattern You Can't Strategy Your Way Out Of

You've done the offsite. The values refresh. The reorg. The new hire who was supposed to fix it.

These are all valuable, but something still isn't moving. The same conflict resurfaces wearing a different name. People go quiet in meetings, then say what they actually think in the hallway. Decisions get bottlenecked. Energy that could go into the work goes into managing tensions: friction, delay, slow-burning exhaustion.

Every organization has two structures running at once.

  • The org chart: the roles, reporting lines, who approves what.
  • The second meeting: the unspoken alliances, the tensions felt but rarely named, the dynamics that shape a decision before a word is said.

Both are real. The second is often ignored.

You can't fix an operating system with a better plan. You have to work with what's actually running underneath it.

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate."
C.G. Jung

The same is true of the organizations we build.

Circle Operating System (OS)

Transforming tension into generative action

Every organization has an operating system: the patterns, assumptions, and relational structures that determine how decisions get made, how energy moves, how conflict is handled, and what can and cannot be named.

Our Circle-OS approach works with that operating system directly, surfacing the second meeting and turning the tension it's been carrying into the energy that moves the organization forward.

Three dimensions of Circle-OS:

INNER CAPACITY

Circle Leadership

The capacity to hold tension without defaulting to control: to meet it with curiosity instead of defense, recognize your own patterns as they arise, and choosing differently. It's learning to listen for what's underneath the words. This is emotional intelligence as a practice.

GROUP CAPACITY

Circle Practice

Everyone in view, equal voice, no podium. The form itself surfaces what's actually running in the organization, not the official version: deep listening past judgment, co-visioning that produces direction everyone owns. This is where trust gets built, and the second meeting becomes speakable.

SYSTEMS CAPACITY

Self-Governing Principles

This is where circle becomes a dynamic system. Roles with real authority. Consent-based governance. Decisions move closer to the people doing the work. Finance that stays dynamic instead of following a rigid plan. Structures that adapt as the organization learns.

OUTCOMES

This is what a high-functioning team looks like in practice:

Underneath the metrics, something more personal shifts: people find more meaning, more connection, and more of themselves.

Why Circle

Circle isn't new. It's an ancient pattern of wholeness, found across cultures throughout history. It's the original way people gathered to make sense of things together. We're not inventing it. We're remembering it, and putting it to work.

Circularity One's foundation is built on decades of business leadership and applied research.

How We Work

The Transformative Arc

Field-led · Not a fixed sequence
1

Entry & Attunement

Before circle begins, we enter the field getting to know you and your organization: leadership conversations, meeting participation, systems mapping. Where energy flows, where it's blocked, what potential is present.

2

Vision & Purpose

The first circles return the group to shared purpose, the original impulse before the day-to-day took over. This is where relationship builds and people get used to circle itself, building capacity for the journey ahead.

3

Group & Systems Shadow

The group develops the capacity to see what's beneath the second meeting: unspoken patterns, suppressed tensions, energy with nowhere to go. Focusing on systemic tension, the group begins to voice new possibility.

4

Systems Potential & Transformation

What emerges is an intelligent self-governing system — one that senses its potential and acts on it. At community scale the same pattern holds: shared ownership and governance that rebuilds collective prosperity.

What you leave with isn't a plan. It's the capacity to sense and respond to what's next.

Offerings

Ready to be a Circle Leader?

If you're an owner, CEO, or senior leader who can make this decision, the only question left is where to start. A bounded engagement. An ongoing journey. Or something built around exactly where your organization already is.

12-WEEK ENGAGEMENT

Circle Foundations

A 12-week journey to experience Circle-OS in action. Get to know your organization's energy map, bring the second meeting into the first, and practice Self-Governing Principles. Some organizations experience major shifts here. Others build the foundation for Circle Partnership.

DEEPER JOURNEY

Circle Partnership

A tailored approach to meet where you are and designed as an integrative journey. Together we build the capacity for circle: developing inner capacities and systems transformations that align. Some of these transformations are internal. Others are in the systems around you.

TAILORED

Custom

Circle facilitation, energy mapping, strategic planning, leadership development, or anything at the intersection of psyche and systems. This could mean integrating circular governance principles, workshops, light-touch engagements, or speaking. Built around exactly what you need.

Circle-OS at Scale

Vision of Possibility

We live in organizational society. The same principles that move an organization move a community, and move a society. Circle, as an operating system for individuals, organizations, and society as a whole, is vital to building a future of peace and belonging for all.

Community Enterprise Framework

At community and societal scale, our co-created Community Enterprise Framework applies circle to shared ownership and governance for scaled community wealth building. You can see it in motion through the Okanagan Circular Society at okcircularsociety.com.
