Circle Academy

You sense there
is more potential.
You're right.

We live and work inside organizations and communities. The texture of how we collaborate, govern, and decide together determines what moves freely – and what stays stuck.

What's actually happening

This isn't a strategy problem.
It's something underneath.

The plan was clear. The strategy was solid. The thinking was good. And still – something didn't move.

The decisions that don't stick. The tension everyone feels and nobody names. The potential that's sensed by everyone but never quite reaches the surface.

Most of what blocks an organization's potential never makes it into the conversation. It runs the culture from underneath – in the hesitation before someone speaks, in the energy that drops when certain topics arise, in the leader who became the hub of everything and isn't sure when that happened.

This is where Circle Academy works. Not the surface. The underneath.

"The wisdom is already in the room. The work is creating the conditions for it to surface."

The approach

We don't arrive with answers. The wisdom is already in the room.

01

Circle

More than a way of sitting. Circle is a form of wholeness – in ourselves, our organizations, and society. It is a practice and a structure. Circle is one of humanity's oldest social technologies. It is emerging again – for good reason.

02

Systems & Energy

Structure shapes what's possible. When systems are misaligned with purpose, energy gets trapped – in roles, in unspoken dynamics, in decisions that never quite land. We map where it's stuck and work with what we find.

03

Depth

Depth psychology surfaces the unconscious patterns running organizational life – the shadow, the unseen dynamics, the unrealized potential. Translated into what's actually useful in the room.

04

Dynamic Governance

Tension is signal. When an organization learns to read it, something structural becomes possible – distributed decisions, clear roles, consent-based accountability. Not imposed. Grown from what the circle has already revealed.

What we do

For purpose-driven organizations where potential is stuck.

Circle Academy works with organizations of 5–25 people and communities at an inflection point.

01

Organizational Engagements

For teams where the work isn't moving – despite good intentions and genuine effort. Aligning with shared purpose, surfacing what's been unspoken, building conditions for people to genuinely own their work.

02

Leadership Work

One-on-one with founders and leaders. Your relationship to authority, uncertainty, what you're carrying, and partnership dynamics. This work often opens into organizational engagement – and sometimes it's the whole journey.

03

Community Engagements

For coalitions and initiatives working across complexity and difference. Circle as the form for co-creation and collective sense-making, where tension becomes signal and something new becomes possible together.

What becomes possible

Aligning with potential looks different for every organization.

What shifts is the quality of attention an organization brings to itself – the capacity to sense what's happening and respond with deeper wisdom.

There isn't a single outcome to promise. What we can say is that the work is real, the change is felt, and it tends to go deeper over time.

  • Decisions that actually stick
  • Leadership that doesn't depend on one person
  • Real ownership throughout the team
  • Tension that becomes fuel, not friction
  • Conversations that were never possible before
  • Work that feels like it means something again
  • A team that can hold what it couldn't before
  • Community initiatives that transform

Circle Guide

I trained as a mechanical engineer – which means I was taught to understand systems and energy. Where it flows freely. Where it meets resistance. What needs to shift for the system to work.

Years later I completed a Master's in Depth Psychology. The Jungian tradition – the unconscious, the shadow, the unrealized potential in a person or system – turned out to be the same inquiry at a different scale.

The patterns running an organization from underneath are the same patterns running a person.

I've held leadership roles inside high-growth ventures. I've guided circle with First Nations chiefs and elders. I've held council in boardrooms and community halls. The form is always the same. The wisdom is always already present.

Circle Academy is the distillation of that practice – made available to the organizations and communities that need it most.
